About Aspire Public Schools
Aspire Public Schools work to change the opportunity equation for every family they serve by preparing them to become college bound and college ready. It opens and operates public charter schools throughout California, with an emphasis on serving low income communities. As of the 2007-2008 school year, Aspire serves a total of over 6,000 students in grades K-12 at 21 locations throughout the state and plans to open 3 to 4 new schools each year.

Aspire Public Schools is a not-for-profit organization that builds and operates high quality public charter schools to prepare urban students for college.
Impact
If Aspire were a district, we would be in the top 1% performing districts in the state of california. Our schools the state target by an average of 9 times last year. 17 of the 21 schools with API data were ranked 10 out of 10 on the similar schools ranking. Our average API is 819!
