In 2009, Education Pioneers will serve 100 Partner organizations in six cities.
Program Details
Requirements:
- A mission-critical project for a high achieving graduate student. Click here for sample projects.
- An experienced supervisor for each Fellow.
- Ensured Fellow participation in five full-day workshops.
- On-time payment of summer stipend to Fellow and Partner fee to Education Pioneers.
- Active contribution to Education Pioneers experience (e.g., participating in EP events, timely survey completion, etc.).
Timeline:
| November-December | Partner determines key summer needs and approximate number of Fellows. |
| January 15 | Partner submits contract. |
| January 30 | Partner creates organization and Fellow profile on online community. |
| April-May | Review and discuss candidates, conduct interviews, and place Fellows. |

| June 1 | Partner fee due to Education Pioneers. |
| June-August | Fellow works full-time with Partner and attends professional development and networking events. |
| August | Partner and Fellow attend Fellows Showcase at the end of the summer. |
| June 8-9 | Foundations - Greater Boston Area, DC Metro Area, and New York Metro Area |
| June 15-16 | Foundations - Bay Area, Chicago, and Los Angeles |
| June 30 | Workshop 1 |
| July 7 | Workshop 2 |
