Wellesley Fraser joined Education Pioneers in the Bay Area in the summer of 2008. Wellesley worked closely with WestEd's business development manager to develop a marketing recommendation for WestEd's fee-for-service arrangements as well as assist with the due diligence process in a potential merger. Prior to business school, Wellesley spent six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds an active CPA license in the state of California. Most recently, she worked in PwC's Transaction Services practice, providing financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions. She conducted in-depth interviews with target management and rigorous quantitative analysis of financial data to assess and communicate the quality of a target company's historical financial results. At Berkeley's Haas School of Business, Wellesley has focused her studies on nonprofit management in the education sector. Throughout the year, she served as a YEAH mentor for disadvantaged high school students as well as a board member for Aspiranet, a foster youth agency. After business school, Wellesley aspires to work in a strategic management role at a nonprofit in the education sector.
