Vanessa Farías joined EP as the Manager, Operations and in her role focuses on building efficient and scalable operational systems to support the EP team and Fellows.
Vanessa is a trained and experienced social worker and approaches her work through a systems-level and equity lens. Her previous work was centered on developing and implementing inclusive programming for organizations creating leadership and educational opportunities for young people. She has worked in a variety of settings and cities including Boston, Chicago, and St. Louis. Most recently, she launched and built a nationwide internship program for Loyola University Chicago’s Online Bilingual MSW Program. She is committed to increasing representation and diversifying leadership in the education sector.
Vanessa graduated from Marist College with a BA in Communications and received a Masters of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of spending quality time with friends and family, Vanessa enjoys exploring new places, practicing restorative yoga, and loves dancing salsa.
