In 2009, EP launched in Chicago. The first cohort was 20 Fellows; 10 years later there are nearly 400 EP Alumni in Chicagoland, 75% of whom continue to work in education. We're pleased to be wrapping up our inaugural cohort of the Impact Fellowship . Our three cohorts across the country participated in “capstone” recently, and while some may continue on at their placement, this ends the programming component of the Impact Fellowship. 2018 was a momentous year for EP. Beyond EP’s first CEO transition, our milestones included some big ones: starting in January with the launch of our newest program, the Impact Fellowship, and continuing with celebrations of our 15th anniversary and growth of our network to 4,000+ Pioneers this summer. I’m incredibly proud of the progress we made as an organization this year.

We are thrilled to welcome our inaugural class of Impact Fellows —our new 10-month experience that helps turn rising leaders' skills and passions for social good into new, tangible leadership opportunities — supporting educational equity and advancing careers, at the same time. Welcome, Pioneers!

Ten months ago, we announced the newest EP Fellowship program: the Impact Fellowship , a leadership development program targeted at exceptional data analysts and strategic project managers. This fall, we’re thrilled to welcome 45 Impact Fellows across the country, who all began their local programming in October. Over the next 10 months, Impact Fellows will be leading critical complex projects at their placements with local education organizations.
