Seth Reynolds serves as Chair of the Board for Education Pioneers. Seth is a leader in EY-Parthenon’s Education Practice. He joined Education Pioneers’ Board of Directors in 2018. As a former teacher, founding Board member of a high-performing charter school, an advisor to large districts, and as a parent, Seth believes that while there’s no silver bullet structure to education, there is a common and central theme: a culture of excellence in schools is built through recruiting, developing, and retaining excellent talent at all levels.
Seth’s extensive education experience spans for-profit and public sectors across K-12, post-secondary, and corporate training. He advises clients on issues related to strategy development, operational improvement, performance management, investment due diligence, and new venture creation. His clients include a wide range of organizations, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, school districts, universities, government agencies, and some of the world’s largest foundations. In addition, Seth has worked extensively with clients in the information publishing and financial services industries.
Prior to joining EY-Parthenon, Seth was a Teach For America corps member and worked at SchoolNet. He is also a founding member of the Board of Trustees of Excel Academy Charter Schools, a charter network in the Boston area.
Seth holds a BA in American Studies, magna cum laude, from Amherst College, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
