Alex Garcia is a Manager of Talent Acquisition, where he focuses on recruiting and facilitating the candidate experience for the Impact Fellowship.
Alex’s motivation to work for EP begins with his understanding that not all students are afforded the same educational opportunities. He also believes that as an educator, it is important to always do whatever it takes to give our children the best education possible.
Prior to Alex coming to EP, he worked for three years as a Talent Partner/Recruiter for a public charter school system in Texas. Before that, he worked for five years as a teacher. Alex graduated from Austin College with a degree in History, and later received a master’s degree in Teaching at Austin College.
In his free time, Alex enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his pets.
