Aliguma Young is the Director of Development based out of Atlanta, where she leads donor strategy, strengthens national partnerships, and mobilizes the resources needed to advance EP’s mission. Aliguma came to EP because she believes that investing in strong, diverse leaders is essential to expanding excellent schools and improving opportunities for students. With more than two decades of fundraising experience, she has raised over $250 million for nonprofit organizations globally and has helped mission-driven organizations build relationships, secure major gifts, and grow their impact.
Before joining EP, Aliguma held senior development roles with organizations including Teach For America and Leading Educators. As a consultant, she has supported executives and founders nationwide by refining messaging, guiding organizational strategy, and activating resources to expand high-impact programs.
Aliguma graduated from Tufts University with a degree in child development and received an MBA in finance from Ball State University. She has been recognized for her leadership in education, community engagement, and organizational growth.
Outside of work, Aliguma loves spending time with her three amazing children and is currently exploring new hobbies that spark joy and creativity.
