This fall is an exciting time at Education Pioneers as we kick off recruitment for the 2017 Education Pioneers Fellowship and work to improve equity and opportunity for U.S. students.
In launching recruitment for the Education Pioneers Fellowship, we are excited to announce that applications are now open for our 2017 Fellowship’s summer track. We look forward to bringing hundreds of leaders into the sector who have the skillsets and mindsets to make change, and who are as driven to end inequity in education as we are.
Lastly, we’re adjusting where we work. As we assessed our resources for the next year, we determined that we do not have the capacity to deliver an excellent experience to our Partners and Fellows in all our existing locations in 2017. For the next year, we will temporarily pause placement of Fellows in Los Angeles and Texas. We’ll maintain strong engagement with our Los Angeles and Texas Alumni and work to bolster our organizational capacity in the hope of returning to place Fellows there in 2018.
Don’t forget that in November, we host #EP2016, our national conference, in San Francisco. Early bird discounts expire on October 14, so register today. We look forward to connecting with the EP network and other education leaders to talk about the exciting work that lies ahead.
Read our press release and share it with the people in your network who may be interested in applying for the EP Fellowship’s summer track.
