Andrea Cioffi is the Chief of Staff and Operations at Education Pioneers (EP) and is based out of Cambridge, MA. She leads the operations team and ensures that internal systems create conditions for excellence for all team members and stakeholders.
Andrea joined EP because she wants to ensure every student has access to a rigorous, equitable, and joyful education and believes developing strong leaders maximizes opportunities for student success. Prior to joining EP, Andrea served as a 2009 Teach for America Corps member and spent 13 years teaching and leading in Boston-area charter schools. Most recently, she was the Chief of Staff for Health Information Project, where she led nationwide expansion of their peer-to-peer high school health education program.
In addition to education, Andrea is passionate about health equity and was a founding team member at AOA Dx, a biotech startup with a mission to develop an early-stage diagnostic for ovarian cancer. At AOA Dx, she managed all business operations and helped the company grow from five to 25 employees in under two years.
Andrea graduated from Boston University with a degree in business administration. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her velcro rescue dog, Lola, and planning her next international adventure.
