Conor Leonard (he/him/his) is the Director, Development. He is based out of a home office. In his role, Conor helps enable the mission of Education Pioneers through fundraising.
A former teacher, recruiter and civil litigator, Conor experienced the need for EP Fellows while fundraising for a charter school network during the COVID-19 pandemic. The switch to remote learning in the spring of 2020 and the immediate expense needs and uncertain revenues that accompanied that change illustrated for Conor just how essential EP Fellows can be to executing on the bottom-line mission of schools and education organizations.
Conor graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Political Science, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law. Outside of the workplace, Conor enjoys visiting National Parks with his family, cooking, swimming and playing tennis with his daughters, and serving his community. Most recently, Conor served as a Director on the board of a public, intentionally diverse Montessori charter school in Minneapolis.
