A Warm Welcome for EP’s 2025 Summer Fellows in Dallas

Last week, Education Pioneers (EP) brought together Alumni, Fellows, and champions from across Dallas for our Welcome and Connect gathering in the heart of downtown. We celebrated the official launch of our 2025 Summer Fellowship, welcoming 44 new Fellows (four of whom will support local organizations), and introduced them to our network of more than 70 Dallas-area Alumni who are driving change on the ground in our schools and communities.

This summer’s cohort will work with 29 organizations across the US, including nonprofits, school districts, charter schools and networks, higher education institutions, and government agencies.

Over the past two years, we’ve been rebuilding our presence in Dallas. In 2024, the Commit Partnership hosted eight Summer Fellows in high-impact roles focused on data and policy, helping to fill talent gaps and advance strategic initiatives. We’re excited to share our new case study showcasing how that collaboration delivered real results for Commit. Read the case study here.

Last week’s event was just the beginning. Our Fellows also spent the week exploring new perspectives on leadership and generating fresh ideas to apply in their projects this summer.

They also heard from a panel of Dallas-area Alumni—Jessica Davis (2015), Julia Hosch (2020), and Dhruv Suryavanshi (2024)—and toured local organizations like our partner Empower Schools, grounding their learning in real-world challenges and opportunities.

As we deepen EP’s impact in Dallas, we’re excited to build on the strong connections made last week and to support this cohort as they dive into learning experiences that will shape their careers and benefit students and families across the region.

Thank you to everyone who made this evening possible and to all who continue championing EP and our Fellows in Dallas and beyond.
