Edtech startup Innovare, founded by three Education Pioneers Alumni –  Nicholas Freeman (2017), Adrian J. (AJ) DeLeón (2013), and Fernando DeLeón (2018) – was awarded a $150k grant through the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund. 

Nicholas shared: “Becoming a part of the Founder Fund community marks a milestone in Innovare’s mission to transform education, support our education leaders, and positively impact our students and communities in Chicago and beyond.”
