Education Pioneers Alum Stephen Chan (2008) was named senior advisor for partnerships to Boston Mayor Michelle Wu. Stephen will lead the Mayor’s efforts to establish and strengthen connections with local institutions, including philanthropic foundations and higher education, to advance key initiatives to support youth and schools, climate leadership, and the equitable growth of Boston.
Stephen brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, philanthropy, nonprofit and public institutions. Previously, he served as the Chief of Staff to Northeastern University’s President. Prior to that, he held the role of Vice President for Strategy and Operations at the Boston Foundation, where he oversaw operations, data and research, strategic planning, and public education programming.
